I remember you showing me this when I still worked at the company. It raises thoughts that come to my mind quite often.

The most mundane, and yet, hurtful thoughts.

While driving down a road a couple of years ago, I thought of someone who died in 8th grade that I was childhood friends with. We used to ride our bikes on this same road. How awful it was to think that the same road crack existed that did when we were even littler. Life continues and doesn't notice anyone's departure. What could be one person's most heart-wrenching day could be someone else's happiest day of their life.

Such contrasts.

Wonder why we were programmed to think so much of our own mortality.
