Nice piece, Lori! Why is this theme so well understood by all? Love scorned seems to be a common wound in most of us. The tragedy is when the scar takes away our willingness to take another chance and hardens us for life. Then the creep who damaged us has truly won. Can't let that happen! Hey, I almost feel another poem coming on...
