she watches them, unsure of what to do. one stallion wanted to protect her which she would not allow, for that showed weakness and then other wanted her with him, which she also wouldn't allow, for she was forever free. she eyes each stallion, confusion rising to the surface. she turns away from them and slowly, as if in a dream, moves towards a tree. she leans against it, and winces as the bark cuts her as she rubs against it. she does nothing to stop the flow of ruby red blood. her eyes no longer hold what they used to. within her, she was battling what seemed to be a battle to the death, only with herself. it felt as if her heart was being ripped from her chest, for it and her soul could not work together. one longed for a stallion to love, the other was consumed with hatred and evil. she suddenly falls to the ground, not moving...
