Subject: Stephan Dragorn(Brother Dragorn) Author: J-Rock [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 22:37:08 07/24/01 Tue Stephan Dragorn, son of Taylon Dragorn, was born of a simple northern people much more suited to farm work than adventuring. Stephen grew up with two other brothers who in later years joined the Northern Army to be "well renown" soldiers of fame and fortune. In reality, as Stephan saw it, they had gone off to join a group of conforming, mindless and tryanical military fachists. Growing up much bigger and stronger than most and learning at a young age that violence often resulted in unexpected injury and heart ach, he learned to bottle his rage and feelings of contempt. In his mind this was a way of keeping others from being hurt, which often happened on the rare ocations that he did let his emotions get the better of him. Stephan found much more fofilment in farm work and theological discussions with a family friend by the name of Brother Jonus. Brother Jonus was a member of a convent of priests who prayed to Xun the One God. Their belief was that acts of violence were meant as tests to the victems. According to achient texts, which there whole belief system was based on, "A man born of simple stock will one day rise up to meet the test of violence. That man will be known as "Dias Sutra Cenna" or "The Bringer of Death." After learning about the myth from Jonus, Stephan was uncontrolably drawn to the religion. He soon found the life as an acholite to be hard yet meaningful. He studied the patern of the human body, from easing pain and healing to the ability to harm through pressure points. Jonus, after seeing that Stephan was a natural, took him under his wing and tought him the few lesser known arts of identifying prophecy to pagan mithology and history. Currently he has become a well respected brother of the church of Xun. Stehpan is roughly 6'6, 265 lbs. He has deep red hair and a mustach to match that trails from the ends of his mouth to this jaw. His eyes are a soft blue that only seem to complement his often smirking face. From many years of farm work he has grown broad of shoulder and strong backed. He often is found wearing his plain brown priest robs. In times of battle he dawns his battle gear consisting of a sleevless set of chain mail, a pair of plate gontlets and chain greaves. He wears a poncho with his gods sigle(a flaming hammer) embroidered in the center that is cinched at the waist by a heavy studded leather belt.
