She stated, then furrowed her brow. "That didn't come out quite right I don't think."

  • "I know.. Poor baby is right. Pity me." At her suggestion, he grinned a little and sat up slowly, and then stood to start the slow walk back to his beloved muscle car. "You're not going to fall asleep while I'm on my way over, are you? Because that sounds like something you might do... Then I show up, and you're all sleepy and I feel like a total tool because all you want to do now is sleep..." He was just teasing, because he really wouldn't care if he showed up and she was sleeping - he would either persuade her to wake up to to keep him company, or just let her be, and at least he would have wasted a little bit of the night. "I'm on my way.. You know I'd never turn down the chance to... not sleep.. with you." He reminded her playfully, an absent smirk touching his fine lips, voice still soft though.
