Subject: Finally he looked up at her, taking in her features and feeling slightly captivated by her eyes. It had been a long time since he had seen such vibrant, innocent eyes and he found himself staring into them for a moment before he shook himself free and back to reality. Looking down at his glass, he drank the rest of it in one gulp before he pushed the glass back to her silently. It was kind of strange, having a woman by him a drink and it made him feel a little awkward which he immediatly didn't like. "I got it." He stated with a crisp tone to his voice, not inviting arguements.

  • Her brows raised a little as he finally made eye contact with her, and she just stared easily back at him with the hint of a smile touching her lips. She straightened again as he pushed her his glass and made the quick swap - dirty for clean beneath the bar without needing to look, reaching for the liquor with her free hand at the same time - and then poured him another. "Sure." She didn't argue because she never would as long as someone was insisting on paying, even though she wouldn't have minded putting it on her. "You driving tonight, Fury?" She liked using his name - liked the strength of the word and the feeling that there was a story behind it that she didn't know. (NT) -- Taylor, Mon, Sep 25 2006, 12:06am PDT
