Subject: "No." He hadn't gotten a car yet, prefered to just walk everywhere actually just because it gave him something to do other than sit in his sparse apartment and think. He actually just walked and drank, that was about all he had done since he got back to the states. If he sat to long, his leg started to cramp something awful too though he kind of embraced the pain - at least it was some sort of feeling, he didn't feel a whole lot anymore. Even in the bomber jacket, his well toned muscles were evident, he seemed to eminate strength with every simple move he made.

She gave him the quick pre-warning before ducking off to serve another couple of patrons, but again she returned to him once her duties were done - officially in case he wanted anything, of course, but unofficially because she liked the challenge of trying to have a conversation with someone who really would rather not be bothered. "You staying within walking distance? Or taking a cab? I can call you one if you want it whenever you're ready. Buses stopped running forty-five minutes ago." She figured he could take care of himself either way, but didn't mind at least offering to be helpful. (NT) -- Taylor, Mon, Sep 25 2006, 12:20am PDT
