Subject: "Is when you're going back and forth every night and trying to save something in the bank, honey." She explained easily, but not too adamantly - he was right, but she was really trying hard to not spend any money unless it was completely necessary. She wanted so much to own her own place once day, and she wanted to maybe go back to school to get a better job, but she needed money first. She looked up at him again for another few steps before glancing down once more. "So were you waiting for me or what? Or is this just pure coincidence? I didn't see you inside tonight..." It had been busy though, and there had been another 'tender on shift - she figured that maybe she could have missed him, but she thought that she probably would have noticed him.

I've never looked for trouble
But I've never ran
I don't take no orders from no kind of man
Because I'm evil
My middle name is misery
Yeah, I'm evil, so don't you mess with me

  • He didn't want to openly admit that he had been waiting for her so he just shrugged, his eyes moving down the sidewalk ahead of them to check everything out before he looked back down to her. "I was in the neighborhood, figured you would be walking and thought you might want some company home." He smirked a little at that, the first real expression on his face since he met her. His smirk was kind of rakish, the innuendo thrown out there. He was a bastard, that was for sure, and he openly admitted it to anyone who asked or insinuated it. He wasn't shy about his sexual appetite nor his need for his solitude enhanced life. (NT) -- Fury, Mon, Oct 09 2006, 9:42pm PDT
