Subject: He didn't want to openly admit that he had been waiting for her so he just shrugged, his eyes moving down the sidewalk ahead of them to check everything out before he looked back down to her. "I was in the neighborhood, figured you would be walking and thought you might want some company home." He smirked a little at that, the first real expression on his face since he met her. His smirk was kind of rakish, the innuendo thrown out there. He was a bastard, that was for sure, and he openly admitted it to anyone who asked or insinuated it. He wasn't shy about his sexual appetite nor his need for his solitude enhanced life.

I've never looked for trouble
But I've never ran
I don't take no orders from no kind of man
Because I'm evil
My middle name is misery
Yeah, I'm evil, so don't you mess with me

  • She smirked a little at that herself, amusement lighting her features - 'in the neighborhood' was the oldest excuse in the book, but she didn't bug him about it. She wasn't exactly the best judge of character, and was the first to admit it, but he seemed alright - a little strange for sure, but he had saved her from what would no doubt have been a pretty traumatic incident. He was actually forming almost-sentences now too, so that was a bonus. "I'm really just a couple blocks away... But I don't mind the company." She admitted with a slight shrug, her gaze moving to him more frequently now. "You staying near by, too?" She didn't want to be dragging him all around town just so she could have a little company, but she doubted he would be here if he didn't want to just a little.
