Subject: That didn't answer the question that had been in his eyes but he shrugged off the heavy duster anyways, draping it over her shoulders. "Late night, isn't it?" He questioned again, this time a little more probing. She didn't look as if she was in any sort of trouble so maybe she was just out exploring the 'front. That was completely reasonable but for some reason it just wasn't settling well with him. It wasn't answering his questions or letting his mind rest so he had to conclude there was another reason she was out there. A hidden man perhaps? Bad boy she didn't want anyone to find out about? That was a joke, he was the big bad, as far as his past went. No guy she could be shaggin' could compare to him.

  • She made a point to ignore the questions in his gaze and just smiled as she pulled his warm jacket tighter around her shoulders. "Thanks..." Her voice was quiet in the night, features softer in his company than they had been just moments before - her priorities had shifted for the time being. "It is getting kind of late..." She agreed with a slow nod, still speaking softly, head tipping back a touch as she looked up to him. (NT) -- Ella, Sun, May 15 2005, 10:19pm PDT
