• She had run out of cash fast and so was forced back out here before the bruises had completely disappear - but the ones on her wrists were almost invisible in the dim light, and the marks on her face were easily concealed by cosmetics. Without too much trouble, she had stumbled across a regular and had been chatting with him at the bar in one of the seedy clubs for a while - the guy was typically a decent client. He was always good for the money, and never really took things too far, but seemed a little different that night and she was a little leery when he finally suggested that they get out of there. She needed the money though, and atleast she kind of had an idea what this guy was like, so she allowed him to lead the way out. Though a smile touched her lips as she laughed at something the man said - his hand on her hip, caressing her backside as they emerged onto the street - her eyes were dark and distant, telling a different story... • He frowned heavily, tossing the cigarette to the ground and crushing it with the heel of his heavy boot. He didn't like the way that guy was touching her and besides he was way to old for Ellie. Quietly he headed after them, the duster ruffling in the wind giving him an almost cloak like appearance as he trailed them. • She was completely detached and barely aware of her surroundings, so of course didn't notice him. Urging him to call a taxi - the sooner they left, the sooner she could be done for the night - she waiting patiently as he pulled out his phone, as there were no free cabs hanging around right then. With a short wait ahead of them, the impatient man tugged her with him into the shadows for something of a preview to what lay ahead - and she was in no position to refuse him, so she went along, doing her best not to cringe at his sloppy, rough hands on her flesh. • He frowned, closing in as he saw them step into the hallway. What he saw there repulsed him, literally sent bile into his throat. His hand went to the wall as he collected himself before he took a step forward, clearing his throat. His voice was completely steady, his expression mocking as he made himself known, casually lighting a cigarette. "Girl doesn't look like she's enjoying herself nearly as much as you are, mate." • She inhaled sharply at the sound of his voice and all but jumped away from the man, who looked immediately infuriated - almost as mad at her as if she had invited this boy to mock him. All she had time for was to let Kaden's name slip mournfully from her lips - she never wanted him to see her like this - but could say nothing more because her patron interrupted with a slurred growl that wasn't really intelligible but the meaning was something derogatory along the lines of 'get lost, kid'. • "You know, I was thinkin' of doing just that but I think I'll take the girl with me when I go." he took a step forward, his eyes narrowing at the man with a low growl in his tone. He hadn't been who he was back in the day for no reason, from the time he had been all of twelve years old he'd had this steel quality to him, like he knew no fear and didn't believe in shutting his mouth. It was a quality that gotten him far in the world that he had lived him and sent him to the top of a ladder he shouldn't have been climbing in the first place. The man with her took that as a boost to his confidence - as if she actually would prefer to stay with him - and stepped right up to the arrogant boy. He was a big man - muscled and meaty, and full grown - moreso than the teenager standing infront of him. Knowin' you were running around taking advantage of little girls in alley ways..." He tsk'd, shaking his head as he took a long drag off the cigarette, exhaling it to the side before he tipped his head and looked up to the man who could obviously beat the shit out of him. • Men like this guy in these situations didn't use words to solve their problems, especially when reputations were at stake. Without opening his mouth again, the large man took a lumbering swing in the kid's direction - if it hadn't been a total sucker punch, chances were Kaden would have been fast enough to be able to get out of the way. • He was pushed back by the force of the blow, hitting the wall hard caused him to have the breath knocked out of him, his hand going to his jaw as he shook his head and tried to clear away the stars. "Adding assault on a minor to the list, your looking at a long time behind the bars mate." He growled out, raising his cold gaze again, not about to back down but not dumb enough to strike out unless he was sure he could get the older man off his feet. All she got was a glare though, and almost in the way of the his backswing as the guy grabbed Kaden and pounded him once, twice more. • He took the blows, shifting to take the least of the other mans weight before he finally saw his chance. He got in a swing to the other mans jaw, distracting him for a second before he raised his knee to the mans groin, shoving him backwards before he grabbed Ella's wrist. "Lets go." The brute was down for the count and they were quick and small and disappeared easily into the crowds. The moment that they could stop jogging, she jerked her hand away from him and gave his shoulder a shove - not willing to wait until they got home. "What the hell are you doing, Kaden?" • She didn't answer that, just shook her head slowly from where she stood at the curb with her back to him, waiting for the cab to pull up, tears rolling down her cheeks. She slipped into the backseat and slid across to the other side, and just waited for him to get in - if he chose not to, well, she wasn't leaving until he did, so she would just wait. She just couldn't speak to him right then - as much because she didn't trust her choked voice as because she had no idea what she could say to him. • He hesitated for a second before he slid in next to her, letting his head rest back against the seat of the cab as the pain started settling in - his whole face was throbbing and his body ached. His knuckled were split clear across, his jaw was probably dislocated, he had a nice shiner going on, a busted lip that really could use stitches and then just over all discolartion around the rest of his face.
