He shrugged again, for someone so adapt at being such a hard ass, he was stumbling over his words as badly as the pounce of a child he used to be would have. He had been so weak then, so easy to take advantage of and as he got older he had smoothed out his words, developed muscle and never looked back at the boy he used to be - the boy that still had dreams and wishes and bloody hell, even wrote poetry now and again...

  • A half-smile touched her features at that - she couldn't count how many times she had seen the ocean, that seemed so odd to her that he had only seen it twice. "You miss it much?" She questioned after a moment, shifting to lean forward with her shoulder resting gently against his, eyes out on the water.
