Subject: "Such a waste of a flight." A rogue expression crossed his face as he waggled his brows playfully at her, shifting to let his arm rest behind her on the bench as his eyes rested on the water in front of them. "I've never...been on a small boat. Was on a big boat once, hoppin' the channel to get to France but other then that.." He shrugged, glancing down at her briefly before his gaze returned back to the waves, fascinated by how they changed size and shape.

  • She laughed at that and rolled her eyes, scooting closer to his side, resting on a slight angle, her cheek on his arm. "I've never dyed my hair." That was a random one, but the first to pop into her head. "Listen to you... 'Hoppin' the channel to get to France'. Sounds so surreal. Maybe I'll go to Europe one day." One day, in another lifetime that was. Not only could she never afford it, but she was pretty sure that she wouldn't be allowed by the powers that be. Girls like her didn't get to live lives like that, anyway. (NT) -- Ella, Tue, May 17 2005, 11:14pm PDT
