Subject: "What the hell could make you need money that badly, Ella?" He questioned softly, his voice almost betrayed sounding. She had been the spark of a good thing in his life, the innocence, the light in a dark world that he lived in and now...now it seemed everything had been a lie. Everything was always a lie, nothing was ever real for him. To think he could have met someone who wasn't...like him...and would have looked twice? It was ludicrious, he didn't get breaks like that.
In reply to: Kaden 's message, "
Cocaine and innocence
Romeo's waiting
Candies and sugar daddies
They never stop wasting your time
Time to dance to the top
With champagne indifference
And I sit salivating
If I could touch you there...
Would you be liberated?

  • She didn't answer that, just shook her head slowly from where she stood at the curb with her back to him, waiting for the cab to pull up, tears rolling down her cheeks. She slipped into the backseat and slid across to the other side, and just waited for him to get in - if he chose not to, well, she wasn't leaving until he did, so she would just wait. She just couldn't speak to him right then - as much because she didn't trust her choked voice as because she had no idea what she could say to him. Never before had she felt like such a disappointing loser. (NT) -- Ella, Sun, May 29 2005, 10:24pm PDT
