Subject: Well, he'd probaly never been chased by people who like to see him dead or in jail. That made a person a little nervous. She tapped out the beat absently on the bar as she sang along quietly before he spoke again, her eyes going to his as she responded. "Hope you cracked the window for her." She stated seriously, nodding a touch before she looked back to the 'tender and called her back over for another drink, this time deciding to just go with a double shot of jegger to finish off her night - it was get her happily buzzed, close to being drunk but not quite over the line.

Sometimes I think I'm happy here, sometimes
Yet I still pretend
I can't remember how this got started
But I can tell you exactly how it will end

  • He most certainly hadn't. Hell, he had never even been in a fight before. He boxed though, so he sparred a couple times a week, but the guy opposite him was never interested in killing him or sending him to jail. It was hardly comparable. Brows furrowing, he feigned concern, head tipping back a little. "You know, I think I forgot to do that... Think she'll be okay?" His eyes followed her for a long moment - she was getting restless, but he wasn't sure that there was anything he could do about it yet - and then he raised his drink to his lips once again.
