Despite it's age, it was well-kept and the apartments in the buildings were on the higher end of the cost spectrum. He loved the arcitecture and was inspired by the atmosphere.

She put away the fact that he lived in the rich part of town for thought on later - there was no way she could take him back to the house - she'd seen how Joey and Jason had reacted to Lacey having a relationship, hell even just a friendship, with someone who could put them all at risk, she wasn't going to let anyone find out about anything she did outside of the house.
