She grinned slowly, reaching down for her purse to get out the cash to pay for the drinks. "I could help you check on her, wouldn't want you to face the shock of finding her either gone or dehydrated by yourself, it can be a little rough you know." So, the offer of going to go check on his girlfriend who he left locked in the car with the windows up [so their story went] wasn't the most logical way to ask if she was going to home with him, but it would work she supposed.
