"I guess I'll find ways to amuse myself." If she didn;t care about him as much as she did she;d be long gone... but things just didn;t work like that now- not with him. She took her drink and sipped at it as she glanced around quickly, gaging the place and keeping herself from blowing up at him.

  • He sighed deeply at that, insecurities arising in his chest as he thought about all the ways she could find to amuse herself in this place that was crawling with guys looking at her. His brow furrowed a touch, his eyes darkening as he looked around the room - he would have no problem taking out any guy who even thought about touching her. He poured a shot of the jack, taking it easily before he poured a second and slid it much more gently over to her. He had known he was going to be like this, he didn't seem to have any control over his thoughts and emotions anymore, it was why he had been so reluctant to have her accompany him.
