He grumbled reluctantly, not big on the whole apolagizing thing. She brought out the need for him to be a bit more sensative though, like she had been treated so badly in the past and he wanted to show her that not all men were self seeking jerks. It was hard though, when he had such inner turmoil going on at all times. It was like his brain, heart and emotions were all constantly battling each other...
