She wasn't good at the small talk, she was used to defending herself and causing trouble and that was generally it. Plus, the feelings he envoked weren't welcome nor overly settling and she wanted to clear her head. Even though he was the one who had come to her, she wasn't entirely sure he wanted her company...

That was about as much of an invite for her company should she ever tire of dancing that he would make to her right now, but it was there nonetheless. He watched her for a moment longer before nodding one final time and dropping his gaze back to the amber colored liquid at the bottom of his glass, taking some solace in the warmth that softened his mind thanks to the ever faithful alcohol.
