"The blonde with the bright orange drink and tight pants wanted to know if we were together. After informing her otherwise, she wanted me to give you this and her regards." The girl had said quite a bit else about what she would be willing to do with him but even Lysia wasn't brazen enough to repeat that at this moment, besides, she was a little reluctant to send him in the direction of someone else as it was.

  • He laughed softly at that and glanced over to the woman with a slight nod of acknowledgment, then waved his bartender buddy over and slid the other man the piece of paper with a wink. He wasn't interested for a few reasons: he didn't take phone numbers, he didn't really like the idea of hooking up with a girl through Lysia, and besides... The woman was blonde.
