He would probably be best off to just walk away and leave her on her own, but she had spirit and fire that he recognized in himself and he was drawn to that. Being a complete social pariah didn't help things, since he had absolutely no real communication skills when it came down to it. He wasn't "smooth" or "charming" or anything like that, he was just Mikhail, that's it. "You took a good chunk outta her."
