>1. Do you enjoy playing at JBTH? Why or why not? Of course.. if I didn't, I would have dissapeared completely by now, although the inactivity, and my outside social life combined have made it more difficult to be around here as much lately.
>2. What first caught your eye about JBTH? What made
>you want to play? It's difficult to recall, but I imagine it had to do with the amount of members that were obviously active and interested in their characters. I was introduced through an advertisement on the board of another game, although I do not remember which one.
>3. Has that attraction dimmed? Has JBTH lost the
>spark that first got you interested? I wouldn't say that the spark has gone out, but it has severely diminished I'm afraid. I can't be sure whether that is due to my age, or again the lack of activity.
>4. Why do you think JBTH has lost so many members? Is
>there a way to fix this problem, in your opinion? I believe that a lot of the 'oldies' such as myself, just grew out of it. As unfortunate as that may be, it will probably be the base for a lot more loss in the future. Getting the name of this game out into the rping world is extremely important at this point, although I am not certain as to how active other games are at this point either.. it may be more a trend than a specific focus on JBtH.
>5. What boards do you visit on a regular basis? What
>boards don't you use at all? Regularly, I check the MMB, and all of my herd boards. I also make stops here, and at the Warrior board, and when it was active, I spent time in the chat.
>6. What is, in your opinon, the worst thing about JBTH?
I can't really pinpoint a 'worst thing' but there seems to be something missing. It may be the lack of a real plot, although that can be a mixed blessing as well. I think that ultimately, this place would benefit from a little excitement. Back in the day, it was often the quarreling and warrior activity that gave us a thrill.
>7. What is the best thing about JBTH? The freedom that it gives the players to really develop their characters at there own will. There are no confining rules and reuglations that quell our creative juices, and in so many places that is a consistantly reccuring issue.
>8. Do you think everyone has a part in reviving JBTH? Of course. Until all members renew their effort to be good, effective players, and to breath a little life back into the place, things are going to remain at a standstill.
>Should JBTH even be revived? If, at this point, it is possible, I would love to see JBtH get back on it's feet. If for no other reason, then for a sentimental one. Also, it is awesome that this game has lasted for as long as it has, and I would hate to see it go down the drain after so much hard work on everyone's behalf.
>9. Please say one nice thing about JBTH. Do I have
>your permission to quote you on that? [I'd like to
>use real opinions whilst advertising. I think they
>make JBTH seem more real.] It is an exciting, and relatively realistic game. It allows players to excercise their creativity without a plethora of restrictive rules and regulations. Long lasting, and potentially exciting, it is a wonderful opportunity for veryone who enjoys equine RPG's.
>10. Any other comments, suggestions, anything you want
>to say?
>nope, I've about used up all of my hot air
>Thank you very much for answering these questions.
>I'm really going to try and rebuild this place. But
>as I've said time and time again, I can't do it
>without your help. Be more active, visit other
>boards. Even if you already have a herd, talk to
>people on the mmb. There is no law saying that you
>can only talk to the horses you live with. One great
>thing about JBTH is everyone used to have tons of
>friends, all the characters were so outgoing and they
>knew tons of other horses. I really think that if the
>characters know lots of other characters, the players
>will begin to rebuild the tight web of friendship we
>once had here. I know that JBTH will never be able to
>reach it's true potential again, but if we don't at
>least try, we're denying the glory of it all. I don't
>want to remember hating myself for not trying to help
>this place. I want to remember the golden coat of
>paint this place once had.
