Subject: Call for Aid Reservations Impacted by Calif Wildfires

California Wildfires - San Diego County Indian Reservations and others have been affected.

If anyone can make ANY contributions including food items, clothing or monetary for the fire victims of the San Diego Rez's, please send them to the following address:

The Indian Resource Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization and is the source in San Diego County that provides assistance to the Native community, whether it be crisis situations or everyday occurrences. They will be bringing these items and donations directly to the reservations.

Donations:
Food is especially requested and needed at this time. Non-refrigerated items, please. Non-perishable foods.

Also needed:
Cleaning supplies - Large Trash Bags.
Water - drinking.
Towels, wash cloths, blankets and pillows.
Personal toiletries - feminine products, toothpaste and brushes, soap, hand sanitizer, shampoo.
Clothes - women, men, kids.
Animal food.

To send monetary donations, mail a check to the Indian Resource Center at the above address and designate it for Fire Relief Fund, OR go to “After-the-Fires Fund 2007” on the San Diego Foundation website, http://www.sdfoundation.org/fire2007. Please keep all the fire victims in San Diego and surrounding areas in your thoughts and prayers. Several of the Reservations were affected by this disaster, and both La Jolla and Rincon lost many homes. Please help however you are able. Any and all contributions are appreciated!
