Both my parents are enrolled members of the menominee tribe.As an enrolled member i pose the question," What protection do the people have when arrested on the reservation, and common civil rights are violated as not to read one's mirandom rights when arrested on or off whats left of our reservation?" Furthermore,what is going on when the court system cannot afford a public defender for the people? The people cannot afford to provide legal assistance for themselves then why even have a tribal court system these injustices will only serve to eventually complete aquiring what remains of our homelands. As my father stated "anyone working on the reservation could not compeat in the real world".I know personally how dirty some of the judes are.I would real like to respect our own tribal justice system.Does it exsist elsewhere that those appointed could not even finish a G.E.D..What are the people to do? My grandparents eurged my involvement, i told them those people are involved with at the time cocaine then they understood i never did that.Someone comfort me i fear for the well being of our children and there children. tecumseh is my spirit name by tobbacco.
