Subject: Concept of Circle

Hi, I am a high school math teacher who recently attend a workshop in Montana called, "Indian education for All" I have project to complete this summer where I need to prepare some material for my classes that would pertain to Indian culture in some way. The way I am going to persue this is using the Indian view on cirlces as a lead in to covering material about circles in my Geometry class.

I have no idea what it will look like yet, but in my beginning searches on the Internet I ran into this forum and thought it might be good way to get some dialogue going. I can certainly see the obvious examples but I would very much like what I present to have an Indian voice to it.

So, looking forward to hearing from you!

Dan
