Love

Is like a new day dawning
The effloresce of light
That comes with every new morning
Streaks across the dew
Covered grass
Chasing away the darkness
And the past
The ambrosial smell fills your senses
The light showering your body
Like soft amiable kisses

As the day advances
And the sun reaches into the sky
Bringing life to all that it touches
The flowers bloom all around
As the trees sway in the breeze
Love carried by the wind is a beautiful sound

Storms may pass
In the moments of the day
Clouding the vision and the mind
As the rain falls across the way
Like tears coursing down
The cheek of a innocent soul
Whose heart wears a crown
Of thorns from a broken love

As the sun sets in the west
And the colors radiate out
With all of his power and zest
Across the darkening land
The last rays of the setting sun
Leaves a lasting brand

The night rides in
On her silent wings
But you can hear her if you listen
She brings with her as she sings
A gentle lullaby
Telling the secrets of the quite hearts
If you close your eyes and say goodbye
To the lady of the night
A new day will great you when you open your eyes
But if you last till the morning light
You can receive the merit of a true love
That can last you till the end of your days
Like two doves
That has found their way
