'he had always planned to go back to see her but things got to complicated, plus i think bastard boy got to him too much....is bastard boy still following her like a lost pup?' he inquires referring to Reid by the only name Clay ever used for him....turning his attention back to jez gathering her close to him once more...'oh baby girl, you did nothing wrong.' he tells her firmly....'you did nothing but protect yourself' wanting to get it thru to her that she had done nothing bad....standing up reaching down to pick her up walking into the living room sitting on the couch cradling her close to his larger form, stroking her back reassuringly....glancing at Kalvin, 'how much time you think he'll be gone?' unsure if he needed to stick around till the other got back or leave....he didn't know which would be better for her.
