Subject: List of new toys that are currently out (feel free to add)

So this is where all the closet-Digimon fans from RTM hang out... :)

Anyway, to try to get our minds off of the news, here's a list of new toys that I've seen so far:

Warp Digivolvers: 15 bucks at Target
1. Wargreymon and Metal Garurumon combine to Omnimon
A decent toy, based on the Japanese mold, with some remolding of the legs to take out the transformation gimmick, and the removal of the cape that would cover up most of the transformation kibble on the back of Omnimon. Also less paint detail. The design suffers as most Digimon digivolvers do from design over playability... This thing's got nothing on D-real Omnimon (or even boxset Omnimon)in terms of poseability.
2. Guilmon digivolves to Gallantmon (Dukemon)
Seemingly not based on Japanese mold. Obviously, they started off with Gallantmon and worked the transformation in, since Gallantmon is by far the better looking mold. He's got a huge lance and a huge shield. Cape folds up and is removed, placed in the huge shield, which becomes the base. Then you basically turn the figure around, mess with the shoulderpads to make them claws, bring the head out of the chest, and kinda attach the lance to his legs (?) to make his tail. There are some nice aspects to the transformation, but the claws are horrible, with Gallantmon's hands sticking out (and upsidedown too), and the claws not being pegged securely to the arms. My advice: take off his hands and stick them in his chest opening.

Next will be Digivolvers and D-real action figures (sorry, too many minifigs and sets to number... :) )
