Tree to tree he jumped with amazing speed toward the north. Kileaf did not stop for several miles out away from the fort. Finally he stopped, looked down and there was the cave. The cave where he had observed the fort for weeks before entering it. He only stopped only long enough to grab a little food to survive on while he thought things through. Kileaf and Xander were her two best friends in this fort, excluding Zave who was leaving soon, and she had done well to scare off one of them already. The she-wolf did not know which direction she had set off in, did not care, but she soon found herself in an unknown territory of the area around the fort. Above her the tree canopy blocked out all light, and noises around the young corsair made her jump frequently. "Demn ye," she berated herself quietly. "What happened to the old Jaranai, Master of the Storms, the one who all pirates feared? Where has she gone." Jaranai stopped and slumped down by a tree, attempting to hold back the tears.
