wow do i remember the "entertainment committee" years..and the "we never do anything", "we never spend time together" syndromes. The young memory is fixed on the moment..yesterday or last week are non-existant...it's all about NOW. Can you believe our youngest of 5 is turning 18 in 2 days?? we can't. Yup. The last one out of the "gate" graduating in a few months...senior prom in a couple of weeks...the whole 9 yards. Wasn't it last week that she was crying and throwing a fit because the family picnic was cancelled due to a flash thunderstorm and she couldn't grasp that we didn't control the weather??!! "IT'S NOT FAIR!! YOU PROMISED WE WERE GOING ON A PICNIC!!" yeah, we had the picnic in the playroom, sans ants. I am sure it will come up in therapy 10 years from now! OK, I admit it, I made it thunderstorm...one of those Cunningham weather spells gone a-rye. ;)

So how tragic is this whole VTI massacre!!! Keeping all affected in thoughts and sending healing energy around them. Any of us blessed to have our loved ones around and in decent health doubly counting blessings! Every precious momment being stored in the keepsake section of our hearts and minds like a precious jewel locked in a jewelry box.
