I've been thinking on something that I feel needs anothers input. I can't go into details here, so please bear with me while I type this.
I took someone in from an emotionally/verbally abusive situation where there was some physical abuse. Trying to decide what step(s) should/could be done.
Mundain things like getting at least some of her things, a protection order, change of address, and such have been done. Also, goes without saying a protection spell done.
The alleged abuser has also went to get a protection order on her....as he's gotten one on someone else before, was good at manipulating the courts to grant it....and used it as a licence to stalk and harras the girl. (I know that first hand). Soo he is confident that he can do it again without any consequences for his actions, except the GIRL going to jail if they catch....Oh grrrrr.
Current situation, we are going to court with NO attourney , as he had gotten "legal aide" on his defence before we could, and we do not have the cash for an attourney. That leaves an uneasy feeling.
With the mundain things being done alreay, what else can be done to protect her, and help ensure that the TRUTH come out and be heard so jusice can prevail?
Also it should be noted that I am *involved* wheather or not I want to be, due to 1. I need to do teh right thing and 2. he has threated me (although it was said he will not go after me directly due to me being strong willed, he could not manipulate me like he's done to others).
any thoughts or suggestions?
