I was beginning to think that I was the only one around here...I have been experiencing the same thing in my two groups, to the point that we merged them to see if that would help, but it didnt, and it doesnt seem to be just the summertime either, I think generally people arent interested in posting or getting involved, we had many people join all full of enthusiasm but they didnt even respond to their welcome post...infact all I ever found out was that some people joined, took bits and pieces from the site,including personal stuff and copied it over to their own sites without even so much as a word. I have now backed out of my group...taken a leave of absence, its not like it used to be and its horrible to see and the last thing I want to see is this site going the same way so I will be as active as I can. I am in here daily to check for postings etc.
In September Im going back to school, which is something that I never really considered doing before, my confidence or should I say lack of it, would never have allowed me to go that route...anyway Im taking Cache level 2 Certificate in Early Years Practice and NVQ Early years Care and Education, once I have finished that I will take my Teaching Assistant Certificate. I am also taking English and Maths(Maths I will be taking with my daughter Bethan)I will also be volunteering in an island primary school to help me with my studies. I am REALLY looking forward to it, though I am nervous.Im going to be surrounded by young people(mostly I reckon)
Liam and the kids have been totally supportive as usual which is still a novelty for me, I have never had so much support in my every day life, though I have always had it in my online life.
Even though I am going back to studying I will still make it into here...oh and in regards to chat, I would be interested if its at a time that doesnt make it early hours of the morning for us Brits!! dont do those anymore lol
