It started snowing here yesterday morning and didn't quit!! I woke up about 1:00 am this morning and looked outside to see a blanket of the white stuff!! Here in Southwest Ohio we got about 12 inches of snow. My mother is on the Ohio/Indiana border and got about 17 inches!! There are Level 3 Snow Emergencies for over 40 counties in Ohio. A Level 3 means you're not to be on the roads for any reason. You can be ticketed. One of the major Interstates in the area was shut down for over 8 hours. People were stranded in their cars. Interstate 75 at the Cincinnati/Kentucky border was shut down also. Around here we call that area of road "the cut in the hill" because of the very long, slowly ascending hill. Semitruck after semitruck jack-knifed going down till they just had to shut the whole thing down too.

So today has been a day to stay home. We have a wonderful neighbor with a snow blower that came and did our driveway and porch. My daughter has enjoyed playing in the knee deep snow. Dog won't go off the porch!! She'd dissappear!! And hubby is content to sit with his lap-top and play partypoker.com all day!! Me, I'm catching a cold. Typical!

So to all of you in warmer climates...YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE MISSING!! :) Blizzards Rock!! There ain't much more fun than 4-wheeling over MOUNTAINS of snow and then finding out it was a car underneath!! LOL
