(no folks I am not the wise family friend doing reflexology...but another friend who directed Scarletyoureyes (oh you do realize you are going to get refferred to as "scarlet" for short! LOL!....well dear worry about that tomorrow....)to our site here. I assured her that we would make a good and safe place for her to explore and use us as a sounding board to bounce things off of and run things by since we are such an eclectic and dare I say mutually accepting and respectful (of diversity) group. So far, I have advised she read Scott Cunningham's, "Guide for the Solitary Practitioner" as well as "the idiots guide to wicca and witchcraft" since I found that such a well-layed out and clearly, yet simply compiled book. Anyone have any other "2 cents" to add for "first reads"? Perhaps it might also be of value if anyone wishes to share how they came to be on their own particular spiritual path and what led them hither and yon....? Scarletyoureyes, you may also wish to throw your opinion in on your chat time/day prefference (see the discussion below on the board) since there is nothing like a new comer to liven things up and get people in the mode to chat. I am still wondering if a daytime (EST) chat is not an option that might work for at least half of us.
