It's been a little while since I've posted; I just haven't had a lot of time to sit and write! I am just about finished with "Guide for the Solitary Practitioner." Really loving it. I think that this path will really work for me.

I bought some used books a few days ago. I bought "Women Who Run With the Wolves" at my mom's suggestion, as well as "The Hiding Place" as well as some poetry (my favorite favorite favorite.) Then I purchased two books on palmistry and two on tarot, which I'm very excited about. The thing is, that night, after I bought them, I got the distinct feeling that some of the books might have negative energy. I can't really explain why, but I just got this dark feeling and then it came to me "it's the books." I know it sounds crazy, but I really trust this feeling. I was totally freaked out and talked to my mother (she understands pretty much any freak-out, I can't remember one time she hasn't!!) and she suggested putting the books out in the sun. So, I'm going to do that today but I'm just not sure for how long?? Also, what are some possible reasons that I might have been getting this feeling? And, is it a good practice to clense most used objects before you use them yourself?
