Phew...that flight was a long one, thought I took a short cut but I think someone was playing a prank on me!!...but hey Im here...may look a bit bedraggled and my wings have lost a few feathers but Im not losted anymore.
Hi to any new members who have joined since I was here last, and welcome back Rabid...
Anyways whats been happening to me since I last posted in here? Ummm well the biggest thing is that we have moved, we're still on the island, but living in a much more rural setting.Its still fairly near to the sea which is cool but we have now moved out of the tiny two bed flat into a three bedroom house, so now we get our own room too instead of sleeping in the living room.
We have sooooo much more room now,each of us has our own space and I have a bigger kitchen to bake in and to prepare all my lotions and potions etc...and we have a pantry too! And instead of one postage stamp size garden we now have a three part garden, the one out the front has three trees in including a huge weeping willow and underneath we're adding ferns and some spring bulbs etc.The side and back garden are linked through an archway covered in clemetis, honeysuckle, jasmin and virginia creeper.We've done alot of work on the gardens since we've been in there which is coming up for two months now. Ive dug out borders in the side garden for my herbs and flowers including foxgloves, poppies,lupins,evening primrose,echinacea,lavenders,different sages,valerian,mints,ladys mantle,bluebells, primroses,colombines...lol the list goes on!
In the back garden we have a shed and Ive already created an alpine area and I need to dig another border for some more herbs, we're also working on creating an outdoor ritual area with altar.
The person who lived here before didnt really know much about gardens and nothing ever got cut back so plants are looking a little neglected and the climbing plants, no matter how beautiful they are will need cutting back once they have finished doing what they are doing, they are taking up about 5 feet of garden all along the back fence.
Also since we have been here I havent had any nightmares(touch wood)Im still getting weird ones(like the one I had the other night that I dreamt I was watching myself asleep and I saw myself abducted by aliens!!)
Im doing Reiki 1 hopefully during the summer break and plan on going all the way through with that...its not something I would of considered before moving here but it feels right...never thought Id have the confidence to do something like that, and the thought of doing it scares the you-know-whats out of me but I will be going to Glastonbury to do that, we were there the other day too and took a trip on to Stonehenge.
My muse has returned after a bit of a vacation away from the weird world of Angel and Im getting loads of ideas on things to create, so today when everyone has gone to school and work after half term break I will get going on those.
Oh and whilst Im posting this...Im having a few allergy problems.On one side of things I am allergic to a fair few chemicals that are found in store bought shampoos and conditioners etc and Ive had to keep changing shampoos in the hope that I can find something that I dont react to...well it hasnt worked so now I have flung up my hands and I am aiming to make my own. I have a few recipes but I was hoping that you guys would have some ideas too? As far as I know the only plant I cant touch is borage, brings me out in a rash and wheezy...not good.
My food allergies seem to be getting worse too,it seems to be mostly related to bread so Liam bought me a breadmaker to make things easier on me so I am making my own most of the time, though things like pitta breads, wraps and bread by a company called Allinsons I am fine with...for now. Im also reacting to other things too but I havent found out exactly what so I think some time soon I need to go and see the allergy clinic people...siiiigh so thats all been fun...not!
Ummmm what else??...Oh Liam got down on one knee the other day and asked me if I would do the honour of getting handfasted to him and I said yes :o)...Not sure when its going to be just yet, we're hoping that our friend from Oregon who introduced us will be here to share that day with us...I wish some of you guys could come too but well ummm that big chunk or water...and land in between us would make that a bit hard lol. In four months time we will be celebrating 2 years of marriage!!!and I still dont understand why he wants to be married to me, he must be insane or blind...or both lol
Anyway, thats me for now...as usual I have rambled and I apologise and I apologise also for not posting in here much, I do read though and I will try better.
