It sounds like a wonderful way to grow up. So how many children do you have and how old are they? I am glad for you that your husband is not against your pagan pursuits. Believe me it can be really awful if a spouse is "anti" something that you feel strongly about. I am fortunate that Spell Weever strongly supports my wiccan path. After seeing the tangible results of my magick he is usually the one urging me to do magick, especially whenever things get rough.

I have recently (over the past 2 years) lost 85 lbs and kept it off...the thing that was the most powerful for me was constant visualization and affirmations. I wrote everything down, I repeated it over and over, I saw myself free of the situation. I would recommend seeing your lungs pink and healthy, seeing yourself free of the adiction, seeing yourself running and not coughing or smelling of smoke, seeing yourself living a long healthy life, etc. Try writing things down that being free of the addiction will mean for you. Maybe you can start a little savings jar for all the $$ that you won't be spending on the cigs and plan for something fun to do with the $$. I am not up on the various herbs specifically to help with nicotine withdrawal but I do know that several natural supplements help with overall calming and anxiety such as 5-HTP, and Relora. Mayeb an internet search will yeild some useful info.

On a creative note, you could try using the freezer spell found in our Friends book of shadows section and take a cigarette (your fave brand) and write your name on the paper and freeze the cig with your name. Just an off-the-cuff idea.

good luck,
Dreemy
