Well, I am asking all of you who would help to do anything and everything you can think of to infuse love and positive enrgy and healing and anything else that is GOOD into this situation:

Last night the third child in my daughter's HS committed suicide within less than a month. Also another child committed suicide last week at the 'sister' HS (that split apart from this one 2 years ago do to growth). Then during the school day 4 different kids made suicide attempts in school!!!!! The boy who died last night was the older brother of the first boy who had died less than a month ago. There were 4 brothers in all in the family...two remain. My daughter was especially rocked when this first began since she knew the first boy and had known him for several years.

After she called me in hysterics from school, I picked her up and we spent the afternoon doing mundane and normal things on a day filled with sunshine. We had a good afternoon. She is sitting on her bed knitting (one of her new passions). We have a wonderful weekend planned out through the monday holiday with some nice things to look forward to. It will be hard to return to school on Tuesday not just for her, but for all these students and teachers as well.
