We had a very cool Halloween (and i do mean Halloween as I will be observing Samhaain on Nov 7th). My daughter (15) had a party with about 5 friends over and SW and I were answering the door for the trick or treaters. We had like 5X the trick or treaters this year...about 60! that made it even more fun. I actually was able to dress up, abd grabbed a little set of ears, tail and bow tie from the costume box and painted my face with a little pink nose and cat's eyes, + lots of black mascara. I wore black leggings and a black tank top and felt like Audrey hepburn in kitty drag. Very fun. Spell Weever and i made caramel apples the old fashioned way, standing over the stove stirring and stirring! Anyways, it was a great Halloween here with much festiveness and old fashioned fun.

I have to admit I am approaching Nov 7th with much mixed feelings as the focus on those who have passed on will surely be tough what with the recent multiple suicides at my daughter's school (another one last week!). I have been having a lot of dreams.

Our computer has serious probs so haven't been on-line all week. I am currently using SW's laptop which is very hard for me to get used to and slow as mollasses (thus the doubloe post in reply to J's!! LOL! sorry, too much hassle to go in the system nd delete it) Anyways, If I am around less, that will be why. Thinking of you all at this most special time of year.

PS...Arianna, be sure to keep a balance in your life and not lose yourself. I have made that mistake in the past and it is a constant effort to keep from being swallowed up by other's needs and goals, demands, etc. keep yourself centered. You will do no favors to those who love and or need you if you evaporate personally. (HUG)
