Halloween here was not as active as past years, there were fewer visitors. But, it was interesting none-the-less! The "dressing up" for it was only me lookin like a homeless person, and that turned out good. A three or four year old young man began walking twards my house and slowed down when he seen me...then stopped on the otherside of a neighbors bush...to ask his dad if I was a witch. I may have laughed except the boy was VERRY LEARY of going by. His dad reassusred him I wasnt, but then after looking at me, didnt sound so sure after all. (lol) Anyways, he did stop by my house and went on his way occasionally looking over his sholder ( to see if I flew away..?). At least the boy was more curious as he left, than before.

My two son's were not here, as they went to boyscout camp that weekend. They went with a troop leader on a different side of town and back to camp they went! The interesting part of this was durring the bonfire afterwawrds, where they talked about different ways of celebrating the holiday, including Samhain! My kids were a bit surpized that their troop leaders know this, yet felt very much at home. COOL. (we donated wood for their fires this year, brightening the nights, some fuel for the cook-stove that weekend, among other "supplies") This is quite a bit different than the other troop they had been in in prior years.

All in all, it was a good weekend. Will be celebrating Samhain on the 7th as well, with a couple of my children (thoes who want to participate this year.)

Blessings,

Crystal
