Are slow or traditional dances better for hornpipe and treble jig? Slow. They usually take the firsts, just because it's more difficult.

I still do beginner steps, so is there anything in
>particular I should work on, i.e. lift, or turnout? Both of those (except not as much lift obviously), and timing.
