Always be loud in hardshoes and be sharp but calm and kinda soft in soft shoes(that is why they are probably called what they are called). Keep your toes pointed, feet crossed, and never look at the judge. Don't make weird faces if you mess up. And try to catch the judge' attention without getting in the way of the other dancer. And also, you may think that it is high kicks and clicks that moves you up, but that isn't always the case. Make sure you are on time and then kick higher and higher, but always stay on time. Oh, and JUMP on your leaps. Hope this helps you, but don't use my instuctions if it goes against what your teacher says, hope you place. :)
