Subject: TICKETBASTARD/SAM KATZ Whine!!!

For those of us waiting for PRIME seats for the Winnipeg show you can forget about it.

I talked to TICKETBASTARD this morning and they say if you were a Season ticket holder for the Goldeyes you had first crack.This is Sam Katz's park so they get first crack.
This of course translates into maybe not a lot of seats sold but most defitnitely the best ones.

As a GW fan and an avid Goldeye fan not to mention a huge backer of the new Stadium I am apalled that I won't have first crack at the seats like everyone else.
Here Sam B., is another one of those reasons I mention about fans and elitism and catering to the wrong group.
The New Year's Gig was the same thing.I'm sure over 50 % of those people were/just avid gamblers and didn't really care about the quality entertainment put up on stage.

Now someone might mention thaty well we get perks here(Online ) too but there is a difference we are avid fans and not just fair weather fans.We're in it for the long haul not just the Reunion.
Well I probably kissed any luck of getting seats for the secret venue but I had to speak.

I have just lost a lot of respect for Sam Katz after being in his corner all these years.

I am a little perturbed that I won't have a good seat OUTDOORS on the Prairies on a Hot Summer's Night.There is no other place I'd rather be.You have to experience TGW outodoors on the Prairies to fully appreciate their music.

Other Winnipegers or people coming in that are going can contact me at argy@escape.ca as I will be working and do not know if I can get tickets.Plus a possible get together.

I feel your pain. When I started calling this morning, 9:59am MST, I was hoping for anything on the floor (I needed 6 seats)...knock me over with a feather, ROW 3!!!. I still can't believe it! I haven't had good seats since 1981, July, Edmonton Klondike Days, Chateau Lacombe Hotel, Friday night of a 5 night stand. I'm sure Burton remembers the idiot trying to identify himself as a true fan, by calling out for Frankie Fontaine...ahhh the memories.
