I sang in Godspell twice as a kid and I'd say the songs hold up pretty well today. I was also in a really bad Godspell-inspired knockoff called "Tell it Like it Is." Now that was awful...

Good for you! I'm not usually much for musicals (somehow many consist of songs that all sound the same), but Godspell shows real diversity.
