At this point I can only hope that the tour swings south. From the treatment of other veteran groups latley I have my doubts. The Guess Who had to overcome huge adversity on both sides of the border when they started, it would be a damn shame if they face it again after all they have accomplished. Popular music is now dominated by canned rythm tracks. The monopoly of Mtv & Vh1 has the power to attract attention to who they choose. Look what a 2 day marathon did for the Monkees. Now more than ever would be the time to request replays of Don Kischners & the Midnight Special (were they on both?) besides the regular requests for Behind The Music. Just imagine what a performance on Storytellers or Hard Rock live could do to shake the cobwebs from the memories of Joe Average, let alone gain new & younger fans. Even just daily request to the local radio station. It's up to us true believers to stir up the collective awareness and get them back in the spotlight. Their performance & talent will do the rest. I could be wrong there could be a huge response from this side of the border without exposure but ask yourself what could it hurt to be persistent.
