I saw them at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse during that tour. At the point of my life, I had never seen BTO perform live or The Guess Who with Garry on drums. When I bought the tickets, I didn't know that Garry would be drumming for them, so that was an added bonus for me.

The highlight of the show for me was when Garry was introduced as a guy who "worked with Randy during his Guess Who days," and Randy played a few bars of American Woman to rev up the crowd a little bit.

It was a great show. At the time, I think it was THE best show I had ever seen. I wasn't too crazy about the album they released for the tour, though. There are only four songs on it that I can tolerate.

If the Guess Who does an album in conjunction with their tour, I sure hope they do a better job with it than BTO did with theirs...

I agree. It seems to be a typical response for a "reunited" group to release a luke-warm collection of bad songs for a tour. The live CD BTO released was better.
