john einharson, you say there are discussions happening? between which parties? please, indulge me on this one. i'm dyin over here :-((( .............. yeah, I think share the land is a bit muffled, a bit wonky. that's not to say any of the other albums are any sexier sounding. to be quite frank, they sound like shit, if shit could make a sound. i think RCA, these sweaty, rutting potato chip kings, these greedy pork-assed pigs, ought to be ashamed of themselves. imagine leaving the guess who, a musical juggernaut that made them a bloody fortune, stuffing the guess who down into the shit pit, leaving them to languish in the mud, minimizing (or at the very least NOT helping to boost) their legend to the point where people hear american woman or undun and ask the person next to them: "who's that? ccr?" soft cows! i think it's a damn shame. the guess who having their catalog remastered AFTER (1) roxy music (2) elvis costello AND (3) david bowie is a sick, sick, ick-making joke. roxy f***ing music? i'll retire to bedlam .....
