Subject: Bachman-Cummings '87

I was fortunate enough to get a copy of the St. Louis show from B & C's '87 tour recently. Although it's pretty obvious that there was some tension between Randy and Burton it still was a pretty good show. Compared to the Pan Am reunion and the I & I show the difference is like night and day. It appears that whatever problems they had in the past have been put behind them...finally!
It's really a shame that the proposed Bachman-Cummings album was never released. They played 4 or 5 new songs during the show and they were great! "American Dream"(?) had hit record written all over it! The old magic was still there, that's for sure! Is any of that material floating around out there?

My favourite from that tour is Something About That Woman. Quite a bit out there if you get into trading, but I've been mainly into videos rather than audios.

He's not doing much- there's a charity event coming up March 11(?) for $150 in TO. Otherwise he's supposed to be doing a couple shows with the Carpet Frogs in March, also in the TO area. (no info available yet, but we might get a live cd out of this)

But since the boys are supposed to be reuniting for a bona fide certified Guess Who tour, that's what to watch for. Rehersals are supposed to start in April.

Otherwise Burton has been doing tours for fans mainly in the summer months, mostly in Ontario- you can almost bank on the CNE every year. But with the GW reunion coming up, hard to say. Just stay tuned.
