Constantly mumbling to himself and weeping, hoping to die. This poor human, missing his left arm, had tried to sleep behind the bushes but the talking pulled him to the world of conciousness over and over again. As he followed and hid throughout the park looking at the persons who were so much finer than him and anything he knew.

A thought in his mind simply by the mentioning it. He had listened and understood little...but he had found something that he had lost long ago. Something that, when lost, usually leads to death. He was a new man simply by receiving that one gift from the chatting councilors...

Hope.

And that hope took form in this madman's convoluted mind. Hope fluttered into his heart on the woundrous wings of the Spirit in form of the bat.

He would return to where he came from with Hope and with the Bat in his thoughts and heart...
